Activity Update
The North County
School/Business Partnership, Inc. is preparing
for an eventful school year for the students
in the North County area. The School/Business
partnership meets each month to discuss
our various events and to foster relationships
between local businesses and school leaders.

This year's officers are:
President - Roger Nienkamp, St. Louis Community
College; Secretary - Chrissy Peacock, Dierbergs;
Treasurer - Craig Hood, St. Louis Carpenters
Joint Apprenticeship.
Our
kick off luncheon will be held September
3rd at the Carpenters Hall, 1401 Hampton,
St. Louis. This is a good time for businesses
interested in learning more about our organization
to meet other business leaders involved
and school member participants.
Other
events hosted this year include a Leadership
Academy for 7th graders on October 22nd,
an Ethics Seminar for 11th graders in November
and a Career Opportunity Fair in February.
A job skills workshop for Juniors and Seniors
in High School will be held in March.
