A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to two of NCI's outstanding
members. NCI board member Diana Gulotta and
her staff in the Hazelwood School District Communication's
Dept. were honored with 13 awards for their excellence
in school communications by the Missouri School
Public Relations Association. NCI member, Keith
Took, owner of Old Town Donuts has also been
chosen as this year's Business Person of the Year
by the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce.
A special dinner will be held in Keith's honor on
Friday, April 9. For more information click

School District's High School Renaissance and
Character Education Committee is hosting the school's
fourth annual "Taste of Pattonville" Sampler Night,
a fun event featuring samples from restaurants and
businesses in the Pattonville area. The event will
take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m., April 1 in
the cafeteria of Pattonville High School, 2497 Creve
Coeur Mill Road in Maryland Heights. Tickets are $8
for children in kindergarten through fifth-grade and

Ritenour School District's students and staff
at Kratz Elementary District joined together for a
worthwhile cause and collected more than $1,500 for
earthquake victims in Haiti. The school gathered nearly
a half-ton of pennies, donating a total of $1,535
to the American Red Cross to assist in the organization's
Haiti relief efforts. |

The Riverview Gardens
School District is moving forward with plans to
begin Prop R Bond Issue projects. On March 16, the
School Board voted to hire Ameresco Inc. as the district's
project manager for renovation projects included in
the $15 million, no-tax increase bond issue that voters

Dr. Steve Price
|
The Hazelwood School District Board of Education
unanimously approved the hiring of Dr. Steve Price
as the new superintendent. Price has more than 32
years of experience in education. He most recently
served as the superintendent for seven years in Middletown
City Schools, a district of about 7,000 students in

|
Riverview Gardens School District's Board of
Education voted to hire Dr. Clive Coleman as the district's
new superintendent. Coleman comes to Riverview Gardens
School District with more than 30 years of experience
as an administrator and teacher in urban school districts.
He currently serves as a consultant for Stanford University.
Prior to his current position, he served in the Kansas
City (Mo.) School District as an associate superintendent,
chief academic officer and interim superintendent.

class of nearly two dozen graduates. The eight-week
certificate program began in September 2009 and concluded
March 2010. The program combined both the academic
