County Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications
for its annual scholarship program. Application deadline
is Friday, February 27, 2009. Applications can be
picked up at your local high school or by contacting

Scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors who

Ritenour
School District will sell $20 million in general
obligation bonds on February 5. These municipal bonds
are the first to be sold as part of the $50 million
Proposition K bond issue voters approved in November
2008. Closing for the first series of bonds will be
February 17. Standard and Poors rate the Ritenour
bonds AA+. The bonds can be purchased in increments
of $5,000. To purchase Prop K bonds as an investment,

The remaining $30 million of bonds are expected to
