"I saw the show last night
and I'm very impressed! It was very
well produced. If I didn't already live
in North County, I would definitely
consider moving there after seeing the
special," said Jill Endraske, news reporter
for Metro Network News.
This locally produced
television special was the outcome of
a three-year partnership between North
County Incorporated and KMOV-Television,
Channel 4. In past years, shows produced
by this partnership gained state-wide
attention by receiving two Marketing
Awards from the Missouri Economic Development
Council. This year's show featured the
economic investment occurring in our
communities, our thriving businesses,
as well as, North Countians' "sense
of community", award-winning educational
opportunities, close-to-home healthcare,
growing recreational choices, shopping
and entertainment options, and housing
growth. "The program incorporated benefits
of the entire North County region and
showed all aspects of why this community
is thriving today," said Albert Behlmann,
prominent businessman and long-time
resident in North County.
"It is nice to know people
connected with the program. We serve
as 'your connection to people, ideas
and resources in North County', and
since the showed aired we have received
calls and emails from all over the metro
area requesting additional information
about North St. Louis County," said
Rebecca Zoll, executive director of
North County Incorporated.
