Each year, for the past 31 years
North County Inc. has celebrated its service
to the North St. Louis County community by
honoring others who are also working or volunteering
to make our community stronger and our quality
of life better. We are requesting your help
this year. Please accept NCI's invitation
to nominate someone you think is worthy of
being honored at our 31st Annual Breakfast,
Friday, May 9, 2008 at the St. Louis Airport
Marriott at 7:30 a.m. This event is attended
by more than 500 resident, civic, business
and community leaders, who come together to
celebrate the growth and accomplishments of
the community.
We are seeking nominees in
several award categories. Here are the criteria:
- The Elmer Belsha Leadership Award honors
an individual whose long-term commitment
to NCI and the North County area has had
a positive impact on the community and/or
public body that they serve.
- The Business Development Award is
given to an individual, business or organization
whose efforts have positively affected the
economic development and business climate
of the North County area.
- The Community Development Award
is for an individual, business or organization
whose efforts positively benefited youth,
residents, civic organizations or others
through selfless acts. Their contributions
need to go beyond the individual's employment
responsibilities, or a business/organization's
mission and scope of work.
- The Public Service Award honors
an outstanding individual who is, or has
been, elected, appointed or employed by
a public body whose long-time service has
had a positive impact on the community and/or
public body they serve.
We encourage you to nominate
an individual or organization that you believe
is worthy of one of these honors. You can
make your reservations for NCI's 31 Annual
Breakfast and/or nominate someone on line
at www.NorthStLouisCounty.com
or by calling the office at (314) 895-6241.
