North County Incorporated Goals

Economic Development Goals:

• · Establish a retention project that includes working with community stakeholders reliant on the residents and businesses in North County as a customer base, identify common interests and develop a scope of work that can be done collaboratively
• Establish a Corporated Leadership group to meet and identify common interests and develop a scope of work that can be accomplished together
• Work with marketing committee on distribution of the new North St. Louis County Community Profile magazine
• Facilitate the implementation of North County action items from St. Louis County's CEDS
• Continue to work with County on redevelopment projects along 270 Corridor
• Provide opportunity to business to talk to local leaders and see what is happening in the area and meet each other
• · Work on legislative matters such as funding for quality jobs and the enhanced enterprise zone in order to encourage future development and insure our state is competitive
• Provide learning opportunities to our membership, community leaders and municipal leadership on positive economic development tools and community revitalization methods that work.

Educational Goals:

• Work with the North County School/Business Partnership, Inc. in an effort to assist them in achieving their goals and carrying out their many activities.
• Support and promote legislation that is beneficial to schools in North County and approved by Board of Directors.

Healthcare Task Force Goals:

• Work to promote health care available to residents of North County.
• Work to provide access to health care for all residents of North County.
• · Provide and updated Healthcare Directory of North County providers online.
• Encourage the continued state support of trauma.
• Support legislation that benefits the residents and providers of North County.
• Continue to market the use of our close to home, quality health care providers to those who live in North County.

Marketing Goals:

• · Host the North County Inc. Salutes "30 Leaders in Their 30's" Reception, honoring our up and coming professional, civic and community leadership, who are advancing our area through their professions and civic or charitable contributions. This campaign is being done in partnership with News 20 and the North County Journals
• Continue to provide information for mall kiosks at Jamestown Mall and St. Louis Millsl.
• Host Legislative Reception in partnership with area Chambers of Commerce.

Transportation and Infrastructure Goals:

• Push Legacy 2030-2035 priority project: a study for I-270 corridor.
• Educate and encourage small community road improvement projects.
• Involve members of Transportation Committee in following and reporting on status of transportation projects and issues.
